Utilizing a new scoring system, we evaluated each team on multiple factors that contribute to overall excitement in baseball.

Evaluation Criteria

Teams are assessed in five distinct categories, with a total possible score of 40 points:

• Star Power (10 points): Evaluating top players against the MLB Rank top 100 list.
• Young Talent (10 points): Focused on first- and second-year players, as well as promising minor league call-ups.
• Baserunning (5 points): Measuring overall team speed, including stolen bases.
• Defense (5 points): Quality of defense and standout defenders.
• Minutiae (5 points): Unique elements such as ballparks, team mascots, and entertaining broadcasts.
• Bonus (5 points): Any additional factors that enhance the viewing experience.

American League

• Chicago White Sox: Score – 12/40

• Minnesota Twins: Score – 14/40
