Former NFL player Robert Quinn has been arrested in his home state of South Carolina after being involved in a multi-vehicle crash in North Charleston.
According to WCBD and North Charleston police reports, officers responded to the crash scene around 2 a.m. on Jan. 10 and said a white Dodge Challenger arrived backing up. The man in the passenger seat, later identified as Quinn, reportedly had visible wounds to his head and hands and was newly bleeding, and the woman who was driving told officers: I called him to come pick him up,” he said.
Police said Quinn had slurred speech, had reportedly been at a nightclub about an hour before the crash, and was not cooperative with information.
City camera footage showed the car being driven by Quinn cross the median and enter the property where the accident occurred. The car struck a Honda Element, struck a Ford F-150, and then struck a Chrysler 300. He was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of a collision with property damage and reckless driving.

After the Philadelphia Eagles reached the Super Bowl that year, Quinn played defensive end for the Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, and Chicago Bears before leaving the NFL in 2023. After being released as a free agent, he was arrested in August 2023 on charges related to multiple hit-and-run incidents in the greater Charleston area.
Quinn is currently being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
