FBI Warns of International Crime Ring Targeting Professional Athletes

Between September and November 2024, at least nine professional athletes, including NFL stars Patrick Mahomes and Dak Prescott, as well as NBA player Luka Doncic, have fallen victim to sophisticated burglaries.
The perpetrators, believed to be part of a South American syndicate, utilize advanced technology and conduct thorough surveillance, often exploiting publicly available information such as social media posts and team schedules to execute their crimes. Some incidents have occurred while the athletes or their families were present at home, escalating concerns about personal safety.
