GM Unveils 2027 Silverado HD And Sierra HD With A Powerful New Duramax Diesel

The engine will be paired with an Allison 10 speed automatic transmission. GM says properly equipped models can tow as much as 20,000 pounds using a conventional trailer setup and up to 38,000 pounds with a gooseneck configuration.
